Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious with stunning views of the mountains, but they felt a bit cold due to too much empty space. The location just outside Santa Elena was ideal, close to everything and quiet, but the lack of coziness in the rooms was a drawback.
My stay at the hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms were nice and very new, offering spaciousness and fantastic views to the Pacific Coast. The service was so lovely, with friendly and flexible staff who genuinely care about making your visit pleasant. The location was the best part of my trip, situated at the top of Monteverde with magnificent views all around. The dining experience was delicious, especially the Costa Rican gallo pinto and homemade granola. Overall, a fantastic choice for a memorable stay.
Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and modern with an unbelievable view of rolling mountains and the Pacific Ocean from a bluff. The service was top-notch with a very welcoming and helpful staff guiding me through a plethora of activities. The location was breathtaking, perched on the edge of town overlooking the pacific, and the dining was a delicious experience to start the day. However, the hotel could improve the lack of a coffee machine in the room and the fact that it's a bit on the pricier side.
I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Tropico in Monteverde. The rooms were nicely appointed with limited but adequate lighting, featuring a huge comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with a great shower. The sunset view from my room was probably the best in Monteverde. The service was top-notch, with the staff being really helpful in suggesting tours and sights in the area. The location was ideal, close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. The dining options were rich and offered some great choices, with delicious traditional Costa Rican dishes. The facilities were well-maintained and added to a wonderful stay.
